Rob Cowan calls this a “winner from start to finish” in his review in the April 2021 Gramophone. This praise is probably justified by the musical performance. But if you watch the trailer below, you will see 17 clips, of which 9 (that’s more than half) show symptoms of the dread disease DVDitis. That suggests this is not what you deserve when you pay full price for 86 minutes of music.
