This appears to be the first time the ROH has released anything from the Ring cycle in Blu-ray (rather than in miserable DVD). Of course, there is excellent music here from Pappano and the many famous names in the cast. But the ROH isn’t even in the same game with the Met, La Scala, and others who have released all 4 operas in the Ring cycle in Blu-ray. The Met Blu-ray box still rules!
